Never look at another person’s life and then think that you are not enough. You are more than enough for the right people.
Just be yourself. Let people see the real imperfect, flawed, quirky, weird, beautiful and magical person you are.
The real difficulty is to overcome how you think about yourself.
Find yourself first, like yourself first, love yourself first, and friendship, companionship, and love will naturally find you.
You are not stupid.
You are not ugly.
You are not worthless.
You are not weak.
You are not a burden.
Your anxiety is lying to you.
When nobody else celebrates you, learn to celebrate yourself. When nobody else compliments you, then compliment yourself. It’s not up to other people to keep you encouraged. It’s up to you. Encouragement should come from the inside.
The more you know who you are, and what you want, the less you let things upset you.
Not every voice is worth listening to.
When you’re surrounded by all these people, it can be lonelier than when you’re by yourself. You can be in a huge crowd, but if you don’t feel like you can trust anyone or talk to anybody, you feel like you’re really alone.
The roots of loneliness are very deep … They find their food in the suspicion that there is no-one who cares and offers love without conditions.
